Herbs, fruits and vegetables dried in the dehydrator greatly enhance the flavors of all dishes! They even increase our minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, fiber intake. We can enjoy all the benefits of plants in a fun and easy way! When dehydration does not exceed 115 ° F / 45 ° C, these plants are considered raw, because their enzymes, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants are almost intact. That's why they will always be interesting and more nutritious than cooked vegetables. Dehydrated fruits, vegetables and herbs at home do not contain sulphites, refined sugar or oil. Healthier. Tip for circular dehydrator
Circular dehydrators usually have a hole in the middle of their plate, which is inconvenient for pancake and pizza recipes. So I found a little trick to make recipes that need more flat space.Use a silicone baking sheets and simply put it on the dehydrator plate. If the silicone sheet is larger than the plate you only have to fold it in half (like the first picture, the orange sheet). The important thing is to let the air circulate on each side of the sheet. It works very well, but the recipes take a little longer to dehydrate.
Place a washable and reusable silicone sheet on the dehydrator plate.
Let the air move thru both sides of the sheet.
