A milk without hormones, antibiotics nor animal cruelty! Healthy, easy, quick and polyvalent!

The recipe

​Ingredients :
  • 1 1/2 cups of raw nuts and / or seeds or coconut etc. of choice
  • Filtered water for soaking and rinsing
  • 4 cups filtered water or water from a young Thai coconut*
  • 1/8 of vanilla pod optional

* This is a coconut sold white on the outside whose flesh is very soft inside. DO NOT confuse with the very rigid coconut. Thai coconut water will give a sweet taste that is totally delicious! The mylk will no taste coconut at all, I promise!
Method :
  1. Soak nuts or seeds overnight or hours. *
  2. Rinse nuts or seeds well.
  3. Blend all ingredients until nuts or seeds are completely crushed.
  4. Filter the plant-based milk with a bowl and a fine strainer or a mut milk bag.
  5. Put the mylk in a container and enjoy a big glass of it or in various recipes!

* The very first step is useless for coconut, hemp, flax and chia seeds. This step is optional for nuts, but it is very beneficial for increasing vitamin content, a better assimilation of nutrients and better digestion. Soaking allows to start germinating and increase their vitamin content. It also eliminates enzyme inhibitors naturally present in nuts and seeds. Enzymatic inhibitors can be the cause of digestion issues related to nuts.

Some ideas

  1. Chocopeanut:
    Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of coconut sugar (or other unrefined sugar) and 2/3 cup of raw cocoa or carob powder.
  2. Chaï coconut:
    Use young Thai coconut flesh or grated dried coconut, chaï spices or infused then chilled chaï tea and 1/4 cup of coconut sugar.
  3. Almond with vanilla
  4. Sesame with cinnamon:
    Add 2 tbsp. ground cinnamon.
  5. Gingerbread sunflower:
    Add 2 tbsp. green molasses, 1 small piece of fresh ginger (or 1 tsp dried), 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg and clove.
  6. Chocolate vanilla cashew:
    Add 2/3 cup of raw cocoa or ground carob, 2/3 cup of unrefined sugar (coconut, whole, etc.) and the vanilla indicated in the recipe.
  7. Matcha hemp:
    Add 2 tbsp. of matcha tea.
  8. Chocohazelnut:
    Add 2/3 cup of raw cocoa or carob powder and 2/3 cup of unrefined sugar (coconut, whole dried sugar cane, etc.).
