The gel of 1/8 aloe leaf or 2 tbsp.of an organic consumable aloe gel from the market
1 tbsp of agave syrup or maple syrup
The juice of 1/2 lemon or 1 lime
Put the sugar and the water in a small saucepan.
Bring to boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat to medium and simmer 20-25 minutes.
When the mixture begins to thicken, remove the pan from the heat.
Add lemon juice, aloe gel and agave syrup and mix vigorously.
Put back on the heat and let simmer 5 minutes.
Take 1 tbsp. of the mixture and let it cool on a plate as a test.
If the wax is too liquid, simmer 5 to 10 minutes over medium heat. If the wax is crystallized, repeat the recipe. The wax must be thick, sticky and adherent. It will flow very slowly from a spoon.
Lightly heat the wax as needed and spread over the area to be depilated.
Cover the area with a reusable cotton strip.
Put the strip on the wax by pressing and rubbing the entire length in the direction of the hair.
In the opposite direction of the hair, remove the strip sharply. The faster the strip is removed, more hair will be removed.
